Both Sessions: A Writer’s Love/Hate Relationship with Social Media

For some writers, social media can be intimidating. This workshop will be a great place to get ideas on how to market and expand readership. Or it might be time to clean out your social media toolbox, and this workshop will help you determine how to restructure based on your writing needs. In the morning workshop, attendees will learn about Facebook Live Events (such as an author book launch), and one of the more effective tools for writers: an Email Newsletter. In the afternoon, attendees will be introduced to one of the less obvious marketing tools: Audio Production. While it might sound intimidating, the world of audio is expanding and writers have a variety of options when it comes to utilizing audio tools. This workshop will also go over some basics and benefits of audio production using free software.

Both sessions are free to members and guests. No registration is required.

Meeting location: TAMPA GOLDEN CORRAL, 6942 West Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa, FL.
